Nothing Phone 1 was finally launched in India on 12th July 2022 at the starting price of Rs 32,999 after months of speculation and hype. The smartphone developed by London-based Nothing Technologies is making all the waves on the internet. Carl Pei, one of the founding members of OnePlus, created the company after he quit his position at the OnePlus. His involvement is the biggest reason behind the buzz that Nothing Phone 1 managed to create in recent times.

Reasons for not buying Nothing Phone 1:

1- Not Tried and Tested

The Phone 1 is the first-ever smartphone developed by Nothing Technologies. There are no other mobile phones in the market that can verify that their phones will be able to function for a long time. Often an organisation tends to make mistakes in the beginning and later on learns from them to develop better products. There is a massive chance that the Nothing smartphone will turn out to be a big disappointment after user reviews. Therefore, one should wait for the reviews that come after a few months of usage to decide whether to purchase the phone.

2- Phones with Better Features Available in the Same Price Range

OnePlus 10R, OnePus Nord 2T, and iQOO Neo 6 5G are some of the best smartphones that are available in the same price range with better features. Also, these smartphones have been tried and tested, which heightens their reliability in comparison to Nothing smartphone. Also, Nothing Phone 1 has only a 16MP front camera which is a big disappointment for the people who were hoping the handest to at least come with a 32MP lens at the front.

3- Lack of Service Centers

Nothing Technologies is only starting out in India, so it is almost impossible for them to create a large web of service centers across the country. This will create a lot of trouble for users who will encounter any technical difficulty with the phone. People definitely want to avoid driving for long hours just to get their smartphones serviced or repaired. There are only 6 Nothing Service Centers in Delhi.

4- The Transparent Rear Panel

The transparent rear panel, which lets the user see the hardware inside the smartphone, is touted as one of the most exciting and unique features of the Nothing Phone 1. However, there is no merit in having a smartphone with a transparent back. It is only a marketing feature that does not use in real life. Nothing is trying to cash in on the curiosity of people.
