Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. After a strong opening, the action thriller continues to draw audiences and perform well on weekdays. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film hit theatres on February 6, 2025, and is a remake of the 1997 Hollywood movie Breakdown.
According to Sacnilk, Vidaamuyarchi has collected ₹68.8 crore nett in India within six days, with ₹67.05 crore from its Tamil version and ₹1.75 crore from its Telugu release. On February 11, the film earned ₹3.35 crore, maintaining a steady run with around ₹3 crore on both Monday and Tuesday. It is expected to cross ₹70 crore nett today, February 12.
Ajith Kumar, a superstar with over 60 hits, leads the film alongside Trisha, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra. The movie follows a man’s high-stakes mission to rescue his kidnapped wife in Azerbaijan.
