MG Motor India has released a new teaser of the new Windsor electric car launching on September 11. It shows the EV's 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is the largest in the segment. Earlier, a large-sized panoramic sunroof was shown.

MG is going to launch a new electric crossover in India on September 11, whose cabin has been teased by the company. The new teaser shows the segment’s largest 15.6-inch touchscreen found with this MG Windsor. Earlier, a large-sized panoramic sunroof was shown. Looking at the photo, it is understood that the cabin of the new Windsor EV is very beautiful and premium too. Here 135 degree reclining rear seats with black leatherette seats have been given. MG has provided adjustable headrests, 3 point seatbelts, rear AC vents and rear defogger on the rear seats of this electric car.

If we look at the dashboard, the Windsor EV has been given a 15.6-inch touchscreen, 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, wireless phone charging, electrically adjustable front seats and electric tailgate. The car has also been made very strong in terms of safety. It has got features like 6 airbags, ECS, TPMS, electronic parking brake, 360 degree camera. As a premium car, it is estimated that the EV has been given an advanced driver assistant system, with this feature features like adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking are added to the car. This EV can be launched in a budget of INR 20 lakh.

How much will it run on a single charge?

In the Indonesian market, the Windsor EV comes with a 50.6 kWh-R battery pack which is equipped with a single electric motor. This battery pack generates 136 PS power and 200 Nm peak torque. It is claimed that this EV can be driven up to 460 km on a single charge. However, the range of the EV coming to India is going to be different according to ARAI. This battery can be charged up to 30-100 percent in 30 minutes with a DC fast charger, while it is charged 20-100 percent in 7 hours with a domestic AC charger. This EV is excellent when it comes to safety.

The MG Windsor EV comes with high-tech features like 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, hill hold assist, electronic parking brake, 360-degree camera and ADAS. The car also gets a black bronze scheme cabin and ambient lighting. Under the Advanced Driver Assistance System, features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and autonomous emergency braking are added to the car. According to the upcoming safety rules, the Indian model is going to get 6 airbags instead of 4.
