The New OnePlus Foldable Phone Could Be Similar To The OPPO Find N

You might have heard about the recent announcement of the new OnePlus foldable phone, right? Most electronics companies, especially mobile phones launch new models with the latest technologies. 

Therefore, it is not something very surprising that OnePlus has also tried experimenting by making a foldable phone.

If you don’t know yet, OnePlus has announced the launch of their new foldable phones. According to reports, OnePlus will be launching six new models this year. But, the launch date of the OnePlus foldable phone is yet to be confirmed.

Moreover, according to the reports, you can expect this new OnePlus model by the end of this year or at the beginning of 2023. 

Specifications Of The New OnePlus Phone

Now here are a few key specifications that you will get in the OnePlus foldable phone. You will get a 7,1 full HD screen display. 

As for the processor, this new smartphone uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Additionally, it has 8 GB of RAM as well. 

Furthermore, the phone has a triple rear camera setup. You will get 50MP, 16MP and 13MP cameras. You will also get a 32MP front camera here. Now, the new OnePlus phone also has a good battery life of 4500 mAh along with a fast-charging system. 

Although this new smartphone has really good features, it has still made headlines really early. The reason is its similarity with a previous OPPO smartphone. 

Similarity Between OnePlus Foldable Phone With An OPPO Model

If you didn’t already know, OnePlus and OPPO had recently announced their merger.  And especially after the merger, you can see the similarities between a few OnePlus and Oppo smartphones as well. 

One of the main reasons for this could be because they share the same Research and Development team and the design team. For instance, the OnePlus 10 Pro and the OPPO Reno8 are also very similar to each other.  

And it is not suspected that the new OnePlus foldable phone may also be an example of the same. If you make a comparison, you will find that the features of the OnePlus foldable phone are very similar to that of the OPPO Find N.

What Could Be The Possible Reason For This Similarity?

Now, OPPO Find N was launched in December 2021. But, this smartphone has been launched only in China. So, it is speculated that a phone similar to the OPPO Find N could be launched under the name of OnePlus. 

If you are thinking why should it be launched under OnePlus? Well, as compared to OPPO OnePlus has made a name for itself in the market of the United States as well as in Europe. 

Also, it was said that OnePlus played an important role in the development of the OPPO Find N. So, launching a model under its own name serves a better purpose for the OnePlus. 

But, it is neither confirmed nor denied by either of the brands. So, it will be interesting to see how well the OnePlus foldable phone would perform in comparison to the OPPO Find N.
