The Kapil Sharma Show was famous for bringing Bollywood celebrities such as Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kartik Aryan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and many others to the television screens of the people. Bollywood preferred to promote their movie via The Kapil Sharma Show as it gave them an opportunity to connect with real audiences.
Sony will replace the show with another comedy show called “Indian Laughter Champion” which will feature Archana Puran Singh and Shekhar Suman as the judges. It seems like the new show will follow the stand-up comedians who will challenge each other to win the trophy of the Indian Laughter Challenge.
Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma has started doing his own things and recently appeared in a stand-up comedy titled Kapil Sharma: I’m Not Done Yet on Netflix. Will he continue pursuing the stand-up gigs or make an appearance in the Bollywood movies? Only time will tell.
