Three major telecom service providers in the country- Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone Idea have revised their monthly plans this year. As a result, the pricing has either increased or benefits have decreased than before. Check out how it’s going to affect you and have a peek at the new changes. Reliance Jio Plan With 28 Days Validity
Jio offers three plans to its users in the 28 days validity period. From all the three, the Rs 199 plan is the first one. It offers 1.5GB daily data and amounts to a total of 42GB monthly data.
The second plan is Rs 249, which offers 2GB data per day. The third one and the costliest one is the Rs 349 plan that will give you 3GB of data per day with the same validity.
Along with data, you also get unlimited on-net calling (Jio to Jio connection) and 100 SMS are also provisioned within the offer. For off-net calling, 1000 minutes are provided because of Jio’s Fair Usage Policy. Complimentary services such as free services of all Jio Apps are added in all plans.

Bharti Airtel Plan With 28 Days Validity
Airtel has the longest list of offerings among all the three. The cheapest plan in the 28 days validity is priced at Rs 219. The pack offers 1GB of data daily with unlimited calling to any network and 100 SMS per day.
Also, there are other plans such as the Rs 249 plan which comes with 1.5GB of data and Rs 298 Plan which offers 2GB of data per day. One plan of Rs 398 comes handy with 3GB data offerings per day.
Free mobile antivirus protection, Wynk Music subscription, free Hello Tunes and Free 4-week course on Shaw Academy with Rs 150 cashback on FASTag are some of the add-on Services. But, all these could be availed via the airtel app via their Airtel Thanks program where they give the Airtel users free services.
Vodafone-IDea Plan With 28 Days Validity
Vodafone Idea offers its users an unlimited calling facility with a per-day limit of 1GB data and 100 SMS for 28 days at Rs 219.
Complimentary service of free subscription of Vodafone Play and ZEE5 is added. Also, the Rs 249 plan offers 1.5GB data every day with the same benefits as the previous one. Going beyond that price range, Rs 299 and Rs 398 plans will give you 2GB and 3GB data daily with additional benefits within them.
Telecom Authority Of India (TRAI) released mobile operator market share statistics. With over 369.93 million subscribers and over 32.04% market share, ‘Reliance Jio’ stood in the first place.
With a marginal gap, ‘Vodafone Idea’ holds second place with 336. 25 Million Subs and 29.12% market share. Airtel stands in third place in the telecom war with 327.3 Million Subscribers and 28.35% market share.
BSNL with a 10.48% market share in the form of 121 Million subscribers covers the remaining portion in the market. But, BSNL has not been taken into consideration for comparison as the Government of India owns BSNLand also, they haven’t launched their 4G services yet.
