The plot of Taali web series is based on social activist Gauri Sawant who has made a lot of contributions to make society a better place for the poor as well as transgenders. The series will cover the major events of the life and struggle of Mumbai-based transgender activist Gauri Sawant, who is currently serving as the Director of Sakhi Char Chowghi which helps transgender people and people with HIV/AIDS. She was earlier the brand ambassador of the Election Commission in Maharashtra.
