Due to security concerns, Salman Khan did not promote his film “Sikandar” on a large scale. Even the trailer launch event was kept low-key. This seems to have directly affected the film’s box office collection. The movie hasn’t received good ratings on IMDb either. Additionally, critics have questioned the story and performances in this A.R. Murugadoss-directed film. The criticism has clearly impacted the film’s earnings.
In “Sikandar,” Salman Khan plays the role of Rajkot’s King Sanjay. Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife. However, many viewers felt disappointed as her character exits within the first 40 minutes of the film. Moreover, Salman’s performance didn’t seem to carry the same spark as before. According to official figures, “Sikandar” opened at the box office with Rs. 30.06 crore. The film saw some growth over the next two days, but after that, its performance at the box office declined sharply.
Sikandar’s Box Office Collection on Day 7
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, “Sikandar” received mostly poor reviews. During the trailer launch, Salman Khan had confidently said that his fans would easily take the film close to the Rs. 200 crore mark. However, that now seems unlikely. On its seventh day, the film has managed to get somewhat close to the Rs. 100 crore mark, but its pace is not impressive.
Saturday and Sunday are usually good days for any film at the box office. Unfortunately, “Sikandar” hasn’t managed to do well even during the weekend. According to a report by Sacnilk, the film collected Rs. 2.89 crore on its seventh day. The total box office collection has now reached approximately Rs. 96.64 crore.

What Is the Story of Salman Khan’s Film “Sikandar”?
Salman Khan’s films are usually praised for their stories, but this doesn’t seem to be the case with his latest movie. In “Sikandar,” he plays King Sanjay of Rajkot, who is deeply loved by the people. The film begins with an action sequence on a flight, where Salman beats up a politician’s son, Arjun (played by Prateik Babbar), for trying to misbehave with a woman. Following this, the politician seeks revenge against Salman’s character.
The police are sent to Rajkot to arrest him, but the locals come out in large numbers to protect him. Meanwhile, the minister’s goons also target Sikandar, and in the conflict, he ends up losing his wife, Saishree (played by Rashmika Mandanna).
A major twist in the story comes when it is revealed that three different people have received organ transplants from his wife’s body. Salman’s character then travels to Mumbai to meet them, and the rest of the story unfolds from there.
