Samsung Galaxy A02 Launched in India: Specifications and Price

January 28, 2021: Everyone anticipated the launch of Samsung Galaxy A02, and the wait is finally over!

This global launch gave a grand start to 2021, as it came with only entry-level specifications. This year’s Galaxy A series is also bound to be different from last year’s Galaxy A02. The features commonly shared between the two products from Samsung is the 5000 mAH battery and the 6.5 inch HD+TFT Infinity-V Display.

The 2021 features unveiled so far is the inclusion of MediaTek MT6739 SoC as compared to last year’s Snapdragon 450 SoC, along with 13MP+2MP dual rear cameras, a Dolby Atmos support and a 5MP front camera. 

This new launch is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz quad core MediaTek MT6739W chipset with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU, 2/3GB RAM and 32GB/ 64GB storage. The storage of this phone can be further expanded upto 1TB using a microSD card. 

With a stellar quality dual camera set-up consisting of a 13MP primary sensor camera(f/1.9) and a 2MP macro sensor(f/2.4) with the LED flash. The front camera is also amazing with a 5MP selfie snapper and clear quality video calling. 

Some other amazing highlights and features of this phone are the dual SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack, complete Dolby Atmos support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS+GLONASS, a spectacular 5000 mAH battery with a 7.75W charging support. 

The dimensions for the latest launch are 164.0mm x 75.9mm x 9.1mm and in total weighs around 206 grams. This phone is not just fast, it is super light and easy to carry. 

Along with these specifications, the price and official launch date in India have not yet been disclosed. This first step just marks the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy A02 into the global market scene, making this the first launch from Samsung in the year 2021. 

Soon bound to become a fan-favorite with its amazing features that have been highlighted, the new Samsung Galaxy A02 is going to kick the Android 10-based Samsung OneUI with its latest software, hence set to dominate the technological world. 

The smartphone will be available in Denim Black, Denim Blue, Denim Red and Denim Gray colors with a 6.5 inch display. 

These entry-level specifications have made the Samsung Galaxy A02 launch one of the most awaited ones for this year, especially after it managed to bag a NTBC certification.
