Actor Saif Ali Khan, who is currently receiving treatment at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after an attack at his Bandra residence, has had his insurance claim details leaked on X. The alleged document, which has gone viral, indicates that he holds a policy with Niva Bupa. The leaked information includes specifics about his medical expenses and expected discharge date.

In response, Niva Bupa confirmed that Saif Ali Khan is indeed their client and addressed the situation in an official statement. “The recent incident involving Saif Ali Khan is deeply concerning, and we wish him a speedy recovery. Upon his hospitalisation, we received a cashless pre-authorisation request, and we approved an initial amount for treatment. The final settlement will be processed as per policy terms once we receive the complete bills,” the insurer stated.

According to the purported document, Saif is receiving treatment in a suite at Lilavati Hospital and is expected to be discharged on January 21, 2025. However, some sources suggest that if his condition remains stable, he might be allowed to leave a day earlier, on January 20. Meanwhile, his family has requested the medical staff to refrain from sharing further updates regarding his health, as public scrutiny over the case intensifies.
