After a hiatus, Revolt Motors has introduced a new product in India: the RV1 commuter electric motorcycle. Following its earlier models, the RV300 and RV400, Revolt’s latest addition marks its return to the Indian market with the RV1.
A subsidiary of the Rattan Group, Revolt offers the RV1 in two variants—RV1 and RV1 Plus—priced at Rs 84,990 and Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom), respectively. Each variant is available in four colour options, with bookings starting at a token amount of Rs 499.
Revolt RV1 and RV1 Plus: Specifications
The base RV1 variant features a 2.2 kWh battery pack providing up to 100 km of range, while the RV1 Plus comes with a 3.24 kWh battery, extending the range to 160 km. Both variants are equipped with IP67-rated, removable battery packs and are powered by a 2.8 kW electric motor driving the rear wheel via a chain drive. They can achieve a top speed of 75 kmph. The smaller battery charges from 0-80% in 2 hours 15 minutes, while the larger battery takes 3 hours 30 minutes. With fast-charging technology, the RV1 Plus can be fully charged in just 1.5 hours.

Revolt RV1 and RV1 Plus: Features
Despite being an entry-level model, the RV1 is well-equipped with features including multiple speed modes, a 6-inch digital LCD display, LED headlights and taillights, a reverse mode, and built-in charger storage. The RV1 boasts one of the longest seats in the electric motorcycle segment and offers a payload capacity of 250 kg, making it a practical option for business use.
