Reliance Jio has announced on Wednesday that they are going to bring a change in their plans as going by their competitors who have already done the same previously. Vodafone and Bharti Airtel have both altered their current packs and hiked up the prices by 40% which has been stated into effect since December 3rd, 2019.
Jio’s telecom packs will be stated in effect from 6th December, which is today and the company has claimed that even though they are going to increase the price, the customers are sure to get 300% benefit from the same.
“These plans will provide up to 300% more benefits to the Jio consumers, upholding the Jio promise of providing the best quality service at the lowest price globally,” the company said in a statement.
The telecom department has been seeing quite a bit of ruckus from some time and the telecom giants have been fighting with each other for even the smallest of matters. The main reason behind such ruckus is that the number of profits the companies should be getting is decreasing and they are all going through a period of a major loss in the past few years after the introduction of Jio.
Usually, the state change in telecom is brought by Jio and then its followed by Airtel and Vodafone involuntary as they need to be in the competition. But this time Jio is the one who has been following because they are not making much of money from this and can relax a little.

Jio’s plans might not affect the pocket of day to day consumer too much but they can sure go a long way in making the telecoms companies a little comfortable and help them focus on providing better services rather than always haggling over the prices, so this might be a good step even if it costs a bit more.
