Rathnam is an eagerly awaited Indian Tamil-language action flick penned and directed by the talented Hari. Jointly produced by Kaarthekeyan Santhanam and Alankar Pandian under Stone Bench Films, Zee Studios, and Invenio Origin, the movie boasts a stellar cast led by Vishal in the titular role. Alongside him, the film features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Ramachandra Raju, Samuthirakani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles.
Rathnam Tamil Movie Budget
Rathnam is made on a massive budget of around Rs 50 Crore. The highly anticipated film, initially known as Vishal 34 to mark Vishal’s 34th lead role, was officially titled Rathnam in December 2023 after its announcement in April 2023. Principal photography commenced in July 2023 and spanned various locations including Thoothukudi, Trichy, Karaikudi, Vellore, Tirupati, and Chennai. The shooting was completed in sporadic legs, wrapping up by late-January 2024. With music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by M. Sukumar, editing by T. S. Jay, and stunts by Peter Hein, Kanal Kannan, Dhilp Subbarayan, and Vicky, Rathnam promises to be an action-packed extravaganza.

Rathnam is expected to earn around Rs 60 Crore at the worldwide box office. The overall Indian box office collection of the film is expected to be around Rs 40 Crore. It will release in the theatres on 26 April 2024.
