Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to dominate the box office, achieving a historic milestone on Day 27. The Hindi version of the film crossed ₹1,000 crore worldwide, cementing its place as one of the biggest successes in Indian cinema history.
The film opened with an impressive ₹70 crore in its Hindi version and has since surpassed ₹765 crore in the Hindi markets alone, now heading toward ₹800 crore. On its fourth Tuesday, Pushpa 2 earned an estimated ₹7.65 crore, with ₹6.25 crore coming from the Hindi version.
Pushpa 2 is the third Hindi film to cross the ₹1,000 crore mark, joining the ranks of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan. Unlike the latter’s success in international markets, Pushpa 2 has broken records with strong domestic performance, creating the ₹700 crore club, a feat last seen with Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Positive word-of-mouth, fueled by praise for Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and director Sukumar’s vision, has kept the film’s momentum strong. As Pushpa 2 faces new competition in the New Year, it has already outperformed recent releases like Mufasa: The Lion King and Baby John.
