The craze for electric mobility is rapidly growing worldwide, including in India. Many global brands are continuously launching new electric cars, and customers are showing immense love for them. A similar response was seen for Toyota’s all-new electric car. Toyota recently launched the Toyota bZ3X, and as soon as it hit the market, customers rushed to book it.

Toyota’s Booking System Crashes

Toyota launched this car in the Chinese market. The bZ3X electric SUV, introduced under the GAC Toyota partnership, went on sale in China recently and managed to receive over 10,000 bookings within the first hour. Due to the massive surge in traffic, Toyota’s booking system crashed. The Toyota bZ3X is available in 430 Air and 430 Air+ trims, offering a 50.03 kWh battery with a 430 km range.

Impressive Driving Range

  • 520 Pro and 520 Pro+ trims come with a 58.37 kWh battery, offering a 520 km range.
  • The top-spec 610 Max trim provides the highest 610 km range, powered by a 67.92 kWh battery.
  • Prices start at CNY 109,800 (approx. ₹13 lakh) for the base 430 Air model and go up to CNY 159,800 (approx. ₹19 lakh).
  • The Air and Pro models feature a 204 bhp single electric motor, while the Max model comes with a 224 bhp single electric motor.

Packed with Features

The Toyota bZ3X boasts dimensions of 4,600 mm (length), 1,875 mm (width), 1,645 mm (height), and a 2,765 mm wheelbase. It features:

  • Sleek LED lighting elements
  • Large wheels and rugged body claddings
  • Flush door handles, chrome highlights, and a charging port on the front-right quarter panel
  • Blackened effect on the roof and pillars

For automated driving, the Toyota bZ3X includes:

  • A LiDAR sensor located above the windshield
  • 11 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, 3 mm-wave radars, and one LiDAR
  • All these systems are controlled by Nvidia Drive AGX Orin X

The cabin offers premium features, including:

  • 14.6-inch infotainment screen
  • 8.8-inch instrument cluster
  • 11-speaker Yamaha sound system
  • Ambient lighting and luxurious interiors
