In January 2024, Amazon MGM Studios announced the science fiction film “Mercy,” starring Chris Pratt and directed by Timur Bekmambetov, with a script by Marco Van Belle. The film, produced by Charles Roven and others, began principal photography in Los Angeles on April 18, 2024. Pratt injured his ankle during filming. Rebecca Ferguson, Annabelle Wallis, Kali Reis, Rafi Gavron, Chris Sullivan, Kenneth Choi, Kylie Rogers, and Jeff Pierre joined the cast. Mercy will release in the theatres on 15 August 2025 in the United States.
