This anthology marks a collaboration between three acclaimed national award-winning filmmakers: Gurvinder Singh, Kaushik Ganguly, and Bhaskar Hazarika. Under the umbrella of “Lantrani,” they present three distinct films—’Dharna Mana Hai,’ ‘Hud Hud Dabang,’ and ‘Sanitized Samachar.’ Each film offers a compelling portrayal of the absurd realities within India’s rural landscape. Inspired by various facets of small towns and rural life, these stories depict people resorting to extraordinary measures for survival. “Lantrani Volume 1” is set to premiere exclusively on ZEE5 on February 09.
