Kia Carens Bookings Start Of From 14th January

Kia India has announced that Kia Carens, the MUV launched globally in December last month, will be launched in India in February 2022, and booking commences from today.

Kia Carens are the fourth model to be launched from the Kia family. It claims to be the most spacious and powerful car. Kia Carens will offer six-seat and seven-seat rows with prices ranging from 14.5 lakhs to 19 lakhs.

Worried About Safety? Don’t Be

This model includes six airbags, rear parking sensors, VSM, HAC, ABS with EBD, along with ten high secure safety packages in Kia Carens. In this model, five trims are Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury, and Luxury Plus. Apart from this, it will be manufactured in Andhra Pradesh in the South Korean brand’s manufacturing facility located in Anantapur. Which is a good thing going by sentiment of Indian consumers mindset.

Latest Features and Specification

On many terms, it is pretty similar to Seltos. But Kia Carens will include a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine, which will produce 112hp and 144 Nm of torque, paired to a six-speed manual transmission only. Or you can use 1.5-liter diesel or 1.4-liter turbo-petrol. It will connect to 66 connected car features through Kia Connect.

In addition to that, it will have an Air Purifier with Bacteria and Virus protection, automatic climate control, ventilated seats, electronic stability control, electric sunroof, instrument console, fully digital, wireless Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay the list is endless.

The car looks classy from the outside too. Additionally, it will be equipped with split LED headlamps, LED tail lights, silver roof rails, LED fog lights.

You can avail of three powertrain options: Smartstream 1.4-litre T-GDi Petrol, Smartstream 1.5-litre Petrol, and 1.5-litre CRDi VGT Diesel. Also, It comes with three transmission options – six-speed manual transmission, seven-speed DCT, and six-speed automatic.

The new car will soon compete with Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, and MG Hector Plus.
