The much-awaited historical courtroom drama Kesari Chapter 2, starring Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday, is just one day away from release. Set to hit theatres on 18th April, the film will unveil the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, Akshay Kumar plays the role of C. Sankaran Nair, the courageous lawyer who challenged the British government in a London courtroom after the tragic incident. R. Madhavan plays the antagonist in the film.
Advance Booking Update for Kesari Chapter 2
According to a report by Sacnilk, as of Thursday 9 AM, the film has sold 24,935 tickets across 3,503 shows, collecting a gross of around ₹82.85 lakhs from advance bookings. If we include blocked seats, the total collection reaches around ₹1.86 crores. These numbers are expected to rise throughout the day. The highest ticket sales are coming from states like Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Rajasthan.

Kesari Chapter 2 Expected Opening Day Collection
Compared to Akshay Kumar’s earlier release Sky Force, which earned ₹13.5 crores on Day 1, Kesari Chapter 2 is performing lower in terms of advance bookings. Based on current trends, the film is expected to earn around ₹8–9 crores on its opening day. However, if there is a strong walk-in audience by the evening, these figures could improve.
