Reliance Jio launches JioMeet, free video conferencing app to take down Google Meet, Zoom and other video conferencing platforms. On Thursday Night Mukesh Ambani’s telecom giant announced that JioMeet would be available for download on Google Play Store and App store.
The launch of JioMeet comes at a time when there’s a high demand for the best video conferencing platform because of work from home situation across the world due to pandemic situation
Jio has been going through some massive fundings from last 4 months, beginning with deal with Facebook of Rs 43574 crores.

The Video Conferencing App, which has been on some of users’ phones in a trial version for over a month now, has now been launched on Play Store and App Store
Jio’s Conferencing App supports 1 on 1 personal meeting as well as hosting meetings with up to 100 participants, . According to Reliance Jio, the app offers enterprise-grade host controls. You can sign up with your phone number or email ID, and the meetings support high definition quality.
It’s free to use and you can create unlimited meetings per day, and the meetings can also be password protected and supports a waiting room like Zoom. It’s basically similiar to almost every video conferencing app running today.
