It is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under the production house Red Chillies Entertainment. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role, alongside Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone (billed as a special appearance), Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra and Sanya Malhotra.
