Infinix Hot 12 Play, the latest smartphone from Infinix in the entry-level stage of the market, has been launched in India. The phone is priced at ₹8,499, which makes it one of the most affordable phones with many lucrative features. The device’s highlight is a heavy 6,000mAh battery that can last for almost 10 hours of video playback, as claimed by the company.
Here are the Infinix Hot 12 Play specifications:
The phone is launched in three colours- Green, Black and Blue. It offers only a single variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Infinix Hot 12 Play will go on sale on Flipkart.com.
The smartphone does not feature a metallic body and instead comes with a polycarbonate plastic body which might work as a negative for the device. However, it does come with some of the most promising features with its price.
The phone comes with a 6.82 inches full HD LCD IPS display with a resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The LCD display is protected by a Panda glass.
On the operating front, it runs on Android 11, powered by a UNISOC T610 octa-core chipset which can clock up to 1.82Ghz. Even though the internal storage is limited to 64GB, one can extend the same to upto 256GB by using a slot dedicated to a micro sd card.
In addition, 3GB of virtual RAM is included in the phone, which helps in the smooth functioning of the software and applications on the smartphone.
Infinix Hot 12 Play features a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary. On the front, the phone features an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Lastly, one of the highlights of the phone is that it comes equipped with a massive 6,000mAh battery, but there is no fast charging support for the same.
