BMW has launched its most powerful M model in India, the XM Label Edition, priced at an impressive Rs 3.25 crore. Arriving as a fully-imported Completely Built Unit (CBU), only 500 units of this limited-edition vehicle will be produced globally, with just one allocated for the Indian market.

The identity of the exclusive owner of the India-spec XM Label remains undisclosed. This special edition stands out from the standard XM model with unique design and mechanical enhancements.

BMW XM Label: Sporty Exteriors & Interiors

The BMW XM Label features a striking Frozen Carbon Black Metallic exterior, accentuated by red highlights on the blacked-out kidney grille, rear diffuser, and window line. It sits on 22-inch M light alloy wheels, further enhanced by red brake calipers.

Inside, the XM Label exudes a sporty and luxurious feel, with black upholstery detailed with bold red stitching. The 2-tone seats combine vibrant red and sleek black, creating a dynamic interior. The model also features BMW’s signature curved display, including a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

The BMW XM Label Edition comes equipped with premium features like a head-up display for seamless navigation, a 20-speaker Bowers & Wilkins Diamond sound system, and adaptive M suspension professional, ensuring precision handling and superior ride comfort.

BMW XM Label: Unmatched Performance

The true standout feature of the XM Label is its performance. Under the hood, it boasts a plug-in hybrid powertrain combining a 4.4-litre V8 twin-turbo petrol engine with an electric motor. The petrol engine delivers 580 bhp and 720 Nm of torque, while the electric motor, powered by a 25.7 kW lithium-ion battery, generates 185 bhp and 280 Nm. Together, the system produces a staggering 740 bhp and 1000 Nm of torque.

The electric motor also provides a pure-electric driving range of 76 to 82 km. Power is distributed to all four wheels through an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission, with three driving modes accessible via the M Hybrid button on the centre console.

In terms of speed, the BMW XM Label can hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250 kmph, which can be increased to 290 kmph with the M Driver’s Package. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds. BMW also includes a complimentary Wallbox charger with this super SUV.
