ICAI CA December Exams 2021: Dates, Covid Guidelines, and More

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI CA December exams 2021 were scheduled to begin on December 5, 2021, and conclude on December 20, 2021. Students are advised to go through the important details, including the COVID guidelines, opt-out options, and exam day instructions.




The exams will be held offline mode across more than 190 districts. Candidates must remember to carry their CA Admit Cards while going to the exam hall along with valid id proof. Without this document, they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

COVID Guidelines and Opt-Out Option

Due to the latest variant of COVID-19, a set of guidelines has been released for the students. The students are advised to note them and make the required arrangements accordingly.

If candidates have tested positive for COVID-19, they will be allowed to opt-out of these exams. But, for this, they are required to submit an accurate RT-PCR report that says that the candidate is positive. On submitting the RT-PCR report, if the institute approves it, candidates will get the option to appear again for these exams later.

Candidates are allowed to sanitize their seats and carry face shields, personal water bottles, or any other safety gear.

One’s safety is in their own hands. So they must also make sure that they wear face masks at all times and maintain social distancing. In case they want to wear gloves, they may do so.




Everyone must install the Arogya Setu app on their smartphones and present the safety status on the exam day while checking the entrance gate.

Candidates must reach in time. Entries inside the exam hall will be allowed from 1 pm. If they want to leave, they will be allowed to do so from 4 pm.
