Steps to Download Voter ID Card Online

  • Go to the official website of the Election Commission of India: www.eci.gov.in.
  • Click on the “New” section displayed at the top.
  • Select “Download e-EPIC.”
  • A new page will open with various options.
  • Scroll down to the “Service” section.
  • Click on “Download e-EPIC” here.
  • Fill in your registered mobile number, email, or EPIC number, password, and captcha code.
  • Click on “Request OTP.”
  • Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on “Verify and Login.”
  • After logging in, select the state along with the EPIC number and click on “Search.”
  • A new page will open where you need to click on “Download EPIC.”
  • Your digital voter ID card will be downloaded in PDF format to your phone.

Steps to Apply for Voter ID Card Online

  1. Go to https://voters.eci.gov.in/.
  2. Click “Sign up” at the top right.
  3. Provide mobile number, email, and captcha. Click “Continue.”
  4. Enter first name, last name, chosen password, and confirm password. Click “Request OTP.”
  5. Retrieve OTP from mobile and email. Enter OTP and click “Verify.”
  6. Go back to homepage, click “Login,” enter details, and request OTP.
  7. Enter OTP, click “Verify & Login” to access Voter services portal.
  8. Click “Fill Form 6” under “New registration for general electors.”
  9. Complete Form 6 with personal details, relatives’ info, Aadhaar details, etc.
  10. Upload required documents.
  11. Review info on preview page and click “Submit” to finalize voter registration application.
