Ayesha Takia, the heartthrob for millennials and gen-z, turns 36 on April 10, 2022. She debuted in 2004 with the blockbuster movie- Taarzan: The Wonder Car. Takia achieved various nominations for her debut film and also received a Filmfare Best Debut Actress of the year.
Since then, she has starred in several blockbusters and critically acclaimed movies, including Wanted (2009), Socha Na Tha (2005), Dor (2006), Paathshala (2010) and many more.

1- Dor
In this Indian drama released in 2006, Ayesha Takia played the role of Meera married into a traditional Rajasthani family. The film depicts how a window is blamed in Indian society for no fault of her.
Meera’s life filled with joy takes a u-turn when her husband working in Saudi Arabia, dies in a road accident. Her portrayal of a widowed wife, devoid of pleasures of life, earned critical appreciation for her. She received several nominations for her acting and went on to the Screen Award for Best Actress.
2- Socha Na Tha
The romantic comedy stars Ayesha Takia and Abhay Deol in prominent roles. Takia portrays Aditi, a girl who falls in love with a guy who is already in love with someone else at that moment.
However, as the movie goes on, the bonding between the two grows, and ultimately the pair finds love in each other. Her portrayal of endearing Aditi wowed fans, who just can’t get enough of their favourite actress.
3- Taarzan: The Wonder Car
Ayesha Takia’s debut movie established her as a cute and bubbly actress who can also act. Fans showered her with love for her portrayal of an innocent and cheerful girl in the movie.

Ayesha Takia paired opposite Salman Khan in this hit movie from 2009 created by Prabhu Deva. She plays Jhanvi, who accidentally meets an undercover cop posing as a criminal and falls in love with him.
She won hearts with her acting skills in this movie and found the flame to grow her career even more. However, Takia has refrained from acting in film for quite a few years now. Many fans speculate that she has retired from acting to focus on her personal life.
