Ajith Kumar’s much-awaited film Good Bad Ugly is ready to hit cinemas on 10th April and is expected to do very well at the box office. After the poor performance of his last film Vidaamuyarchi, which released in February, fans are looking at this movie as a grand comeback for the actor.
Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly will be released in multiple languages. Early ticket bookings have been quite impressive, especially in Tamil Nadu, where Ajith enjoys a massive fan base. As per the latest reports, the film has already crossed a gross of ₹15 crore in advance bookings for day one, making it one of the top five biggest openers in the state.
Across India, the advance bookings are close to ₹18 crore for the first day alone. The film is also expected to earn around ₹35 crore over its opening 4-day weekend, with more than ₹28 crore of that expected from Tamil Nadu itself.
If the current pace continues, Good Bad Ugly could easily join the elite club of films that have made over ₹30 crore on their opening day in Tamil Nadu. That would place it among the top three highest day-one earners in the region.
The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, marking their first Tamil film. Alongside Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan, the cast includes Arjun Das, Sunil, Jackie Shroff, Sayaji Shinde, Tinnu Anand, and Priya Prakash Varrier in important roles.
