Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, under their production company Kilter Films, are developing Fallout, a forthcoming American post-apocalyptic drama for Amazon Prime Video. The series draws inspiration from the role-playing video game franchise originally crafted by Interplay Entertainment and currently held by Bethesda Softworks.
Fallout Web Series Release Date on Amazon Prime Video
Fallout web series will be released on April 12, 2024 on Amazon Prime Video. In 2020, Amazon acquired the rights to develop a live-action project, and the show’s announcement followed in July. Kilter Films, in collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks, took on the production. Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan were revealed as the head writers, while Todd Howard, a producer from Bethesda Game Studios with a history of directing games in the series, joined as an executive producer alongside Joy and Nolan. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner became the showrunners in January 2022, and the cast expanded with Walton Goggins and Ella Purnell joining in February and March, respectively.
