The entire world is waiting for COVID-19 Vaccine and nothing else could be a priority for any healthcare system in the world as if now. In the past few days, the corona affectees are have seen a massive rise in their numbers in the country. As per the reports, India crossed the 1.45 lakh mark in the COVID-19 which is contributed from 6,535 new cases in the last 24 hours.Â
These staggering statistics have pushed India at the tenth position in worst-hit countries. The pandemic origins from a wet fish Wuhan in China in December last year. And now, this virus has hit 196 counties in total with a global count measures a total of 5.5 million peoples.Â
India, on the other hand, had some exceptional condition formed in the back 2 months. The first case of the COVID-19 in India confirmed on January 30 when a Kerala student had tested positive for the virus. Till then, India had only been exposed to the news of the virus transmission.Â
And now, the conditions have worsened far from expectations. The Indian Council of Medical Research and Bharat Biotech International Limited recently announced a major portion of funding for the COVID-19 vaccine. This adds to the PM CARES Fund Trust who has decided to allocate Rs 100 crore in works of COVID-19 vaccine.

As of now, India and every hit nation are striving hard to find a solution to the pandemic. Over the last 2 months, 110 different projects have been assigned to different research labs and medical centers all over the globe to find a prominent cure for the SARS-CoV-19 virus.Â
India’s Pune-based serum institute is one of the first ones to work on vaccines. But one of the world’s largest. The facility can produce 1.5 billion vaccine doses per year and currently, is working on 3 projects to produce COVID-19 vaccines, cooperated with the UK and the USA.Â
Adding to the Pune-based firm is the Moderna’s RNA vaccine. The company is a strong competition in producing a viable vaccine distribution in the country. Recently, the company also successfully finished Stage-1 of the clinical trial on 8 COVID-19 positive candidates.Â
The firm also claims that these 8 subjects have formed an antibody-antigen against the virus. Not only this, but the vaccine, the Moderna’s mRNA vaccine (mRNA-1273) does show signs to improve immunity and bring down the mortality rate in the country.Â
2 days ago, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan stated that four out of the 14 COVID-19 vaccine candidates from India may enter the clinical trial stage in the next three-five months. There are more than 100 candidates in the country who are working at different levels for this work.Â
Lastly, to say, it is very difficult to predict an accurate time for the arrival of a strong vaccine. As per the experts, the process that this involves may result in a period of 1 year or more to find the positive COVID-19 vaccination.Â
