Covid-19 Vaccine To Release Soon In India Says The Government

The cure for covid-19 may be introduced soon for every Indian household, as the Union Health Ministry has spoken about the release of the vaccine 10 days after receiving the approval. Covid-19 Vaccine To Release

The final approval was given to the Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech by the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) for Covishield and Covaxin. The meeting held before the committee of the subjects experts declared the vaccines fit for emergency usage.




The Union Health Secretary, Rajesh Bhushan’s statement was given to the media during a briefing. “Based on the feedback of dry run, the government is ready to start the production of these vaccines and will be launched within 10 days of receiving the approval.

Updating us more about the vaccines, Rajesh Bhushan talked further about the vaccines available and mentioned the four primary stores (Karnal, Chennai, Mumbai, and Kolkata for the collection of vaccines. The vaccines are safely collected in medical store depots called GMSD. Currently, there are 37 GMSD stores located all over India, which store vaccines in bulk for further use.

Bharat Biotech’s CEO Adar Poonawalla and Serum Institute’s chairman Krishna Ella have posted a united response which talks about their never-ending efforts to produce and supply these Covid-19 vaccines.

“We are fully aware of the importance of vaccines with this ongoing pandemic for all the countries and people; we hereby pledge to manufacture and distribute vaccines for Covid-19 on a global scale.”

Let’s see what happens and the real answer will be out within a fortnight only, that weather we’re getting vaccinated against the most horrendous virus to ever exist or not.
