Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna star in the lead roles in Chhava, which continues to maintain a strong grip at the box office even in its fourth week. This trend continued on Thursday, March 13, when the film earned over ₹4 crore. Now, it is inching closer to breaking the record of Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan, which featured Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
Chhava’s Impressive Box Office Performance
Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s Chhava is making waves at the box office. According to Indian Express, citing Sacnilk, the film earned ₹4.5 crore on its 28th day (Thursday, March 13). With this, the film’s domestic earnings have reached ₹539.5 crore. However, there was a slight dip in collections compared to Wednesday, when it earned ₹4.8 crore. If Chhava continues at this pace, it will soon surpass Pathaan’s record, which grossed ₹543.09 crore at the box office.

Chhava’s Global Success
On Thursday, March 13, Chhava recorded a net collection of ₹4.5 crore in India, bringing its domestic total to ₹539.5 crore. However, this also marked a 6.25% decline compared to Wednesday’s ₹4.8 crore earnings. The Hindi version contributed ₹3.75 crore, while the Telugu version added ₹75 lakh to the Thursday collection. With this, the film’s global gross collection has reached ₹731 crore.
Chhava Could Surpass Animal’s Record
If Chhava maintains its earnings momentum, its domestic collection could cross ₹550 crore over the weekend. As a result, it would secure the ninth spot in the list of highest-grossing Indian films domestically. Once it surpasses Pathaan, Chhava could go on to beat Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, which earned ₹553.87 crore, securing the eighth position in the list.
