On its sixth day, Wednesday, the film roared at the box office, surpassing major films in earnings. In fact, Chhaava collected more on its sixth day than it did on its opening day.
Usually, no matter how big a film is, its earnings start dropping after the first weekend, especially from Monday onwards. However, Chhaava is proving to be an exception. While its earnings dipped slightly on Monday, they have been consistently rising since then, turning the theatres into a celebration.
Chhaava Breaks Opening Day Record with ₹32 Crore Collection
Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film collected ₹31 crore on its opening day. It saw a strong surge over the weekend, with a slight dip to ₹24 crore on Monday. However, the earnings have only been increasing since then. According to Sacnilk’s report, Chhaava broke its opening day record on Wednesday, earning ₹32 crore. With this, the film’s total domestic collection has reached approximately ₹197.75 crore.

With a budget of around ₹130 crore, the film has already earned nearly twice its cost. Its worldwide collection stands at approximately ₹265 crore, with overseas earnings surpassing ₹30 crore.
