Car Launches Expected in October 2024- What to Expect

The Indian automotive sector is gearing up for a busy October 2024, with multiple car launches expected across various segments, including SUVs and electric vehicles. Several automakers are set to introduce new models, while others will revamp and facelift their existing offerings during this festive season.

Kia Carnival

The new-generation Kia Carnival is scheduled for launch on October 3, according to reports from CarDekho. This updated model is likely to feature a 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, generating 190 bhp of power and 441 Nm of torque.

Expected Price: ₹40 Lakh

Kia EV9

Kia is also anticipated to introduce the EV9, an all-electric family SUV, on October 3. The India-spec version of the Kia EV9 is expected to come with a 99.8 kWh battery pack, 12.3-inch touchscreens for infotainment and driver displays, a 5.3-inch display for climate controls, multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, and hill start assist.

Expected Price: ₹80 Lakh

Nissan Magnite Facelift

Nissan will launch the facelifted version of its compact SUV, the Magnite, on October 4, 2024, according to CarDekho. The updated model is likely to be powered by a 999 CC petrol engine paired with a manual transmission.

Expected Price: ₹6.30-11.50 Lakh

BYD eMax 7

BYD is expected to launch the eMax 7, a facelifted version of the e6 MPV, on October 8. The eMax 7 is anticipated to feature a large 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen, wireless phone charger, panoramic glass roof, ventilated and powered front seats, 6 airbags (as standard), a 360-degree camera, and all-wheel disc brakes.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB

Mercedes-Benz will introduce the 2024 E-Class Long Wheelbase (LWB) on October 9, offering both petrol and diesel options. The model is expected to feature a 1950 CC petrol engine paired with an automatic transmission.

Expected Price: ₹80-93 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2024

The new-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to launch on October 15, as reported by CarDekho. The updated model is likely to be powered by a 1197 CC petrol engine paired with a manual transmission.
