Bad Boys 4 is estimated to be made on a budget of around US $70 million. Principal photography for Bad Boys 4 commenced on April 3, 2023, spanning locations in Atlanta, Georgia, and Miami, Florida. On May 22, 2023, TMZ shared behind-the-scenes clips featuring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence filming scenes in Atlanta. However, filming was temporarily halted in July due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. In March 2024, it was announced that Jacob Scipio would return to portray his character, Armando Aretas, from the previous film. The filming concluded on March 4.
