Afwaah Movie Review: Nawazuddin and Bhumi Starrer is An Exciting Thriller

Afwaah Movie Review

Afwaah directed by Sudhir Mishra is a pacy thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seats with its interesting plot that makes you wonder about the outcome of its characters. However, the movie fails to make you invested in its characters because of the fickle motives behind their actions especially the main characters Rahab and Nivi.

Sometimes the entire setting of the film looks forced but that does not take away the fact that it is a highly enjoyable road thriller in its own ways. Two people who know nothing about each other are suddenly thrown together while being hunted by the goons sent the ambitious and vicious political leader played by Sumeet Vyas.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Rahab, Bhumi Pednekar as Nivi are wonderful in their roles. The duo has aced their characters and make you feel invested in their journey in the film. Sharib Hashmi is another actor who will definitely keep you glued to your screens with his great acting abilities. Not to forget, the love of OTT, Sumeet Vyas is brilliant in this film.

The background score of the film could have been better and a little bit of world building would have helped as well. Aside from that it is a fine thriller that definitely deserves a visit in the theatres. If you like movies that can keep you hooked from the beginning till end then this is the film for you.
