WhatsApp debuted a slew of new features in 2021, with more on the way. In recent weeks, WhatsApp has been observed developing a host of Upcoming features.
Some of these features are currently in progress, while others are said to be in beta testing. WhatsApp was reportedly caught trying Instagram Reels compatibility on the service. It is ranging from masking last seen from selected friends to signing out of WhatsApp and wiping transmitted messages from any time previously.

Show the profile photo in text notifications.
The instant-messaging software is creating and developing on a unique feature that will show the user’s profile photo in iOS system notifications when a user gets a new text from pals or a group.

Hide last seen information from certain contacts.
Until previously, WhatsApp users could hide last seen from all friends but not individual ones. With the introduction of the new functionality, the messaging app will allow you to hide the last seen of certain contacts while keeping the last seen of all other contacts available to you.

 Time limit for removing sent messages
Users can currently delete messages on WhatsApp for up to 4,096 seconds or 68 minutes 16 secs (1 hour 8 minutes and 16 seconds). According to current reports, the meta-owned application is rolling out a new beta release that will completely erase this restriction.
Using the new feature, users will be able to remove sent messages from any point in history. There is no current schedule for when this functionality will be available.

The WhatsApp Community function
WhatsApp is working and innovating on a new community feature similar to Harmony groups and channels. This is not the same as WhatsApp’s current group’s function. With this new upcoming Whatsapp feature, group administrators will have full influence over the app’s many functionalities.
Admin can establish up to 10 groups within a community and send texts to all of them at the same time. The community conversations and chats will be encrypted/secured from start to finish. It’s conceivable that the feature is going to be available within a very short period of time.

WhatsApp Logout feature
The Upcoming WhatsApp features like Logout, as well as a multi-device functionality, are going to be available this year. Users will be able to log out of their WhatsApp account from their smartphones in the same way that they can check out other social networking applications.

WhatsApp is working on a new upcoming features that will enable users to watch Instagram Reels directly within the messaging app. According to sources, this is a component of WhatsApp’s goal of integrating with other Facebook owned applications.

Read later feature
WhatsApp may soon update the Archived Conversations feature, allowing you to read them afterward. Viewers will not receive alerts for text messages from a chat that will be going to move to the read later section.
The functionality will also include a vacation mode, which will make read later chats act identically to archived chats in the latest stable edition. Users can change settings by clicking the edit button. WhatsApp users can unarchive many chats/conversations in one attempt.

WhatsApp Insurance Coverage
Users in India will shortly be able to buy insurance using the service. The instant-messaging app hopes to give health insurance and micro-pension solutions to its chat segment in India through collaborations with licensed financial services organizations. WhatsApp will initially promote SBI General sachet-health insurance and HDFC Pension products through its service.

Emoji responses
WhatsApp users, like those on Instagram and Facebook, will shortly be able to react to conversations using images. WABetaInfo claims to have noticed a preview of the feature. The message reaction function will enable people to engage in a text using a total of 6 emojis.
Message reactions are available in both solo and group chat conversations. Users can also easily enable text reaction alerts by selecting the ‘Reaction Alerts’ checkbox.
