IndiGo, India’s low-cost carrier, has introduced a special five-day year-end deal on 150+ domestic flights on the 6E route. Customers will be able to purchase all-inclusive rates on domestic flights beginning at Rs 1,122 during the event, which will run from December 27, 2021, to December 31, 2021. Significantly, it is applicable for travel between January 15th, 2022, and April 15th, 2022.
Discount on Indigo flights comes just days after other Indian airlines such as SpiceJet Ltd, AirAsia India, and GoFirst made similar announcements. While GoFirst has declared that fully vaccinated travelers will receive special offers, AirAsia India and SpiceJet introduced discount plans on Monday, giving tickets starting at Rs 1,122.
Passengers can take advantage of one free change under this offer if they change their plans more than three days before their departure. IndiGo has provided additional details regarding this deal via a tweet from its official Twitter account. Indigo said that Get packing because we’re waiting for you to travel.

He made a point of saying “Air travel safety, paired with rigorous immunization programs, and people’s eagerness to tour Indian cities have increased consumer sentiment.” This deal will allow them to arrange domestic trips ahead of time and at a low cost. This special discount reaffirms IndiGo’s dedication to providing an on-time, courteous, safe, and hassle-free service at low rates onboard our lean, pure flying machine.”
The move is likely to boost bookings in the wake of the Omicron threat, which has resulted in higher bans across states. While tourism remains strong in December, with airlines seeing approximately 380,000 daily passengers, forward bookings appear to be poor. Additionally, airlines are waiving date change and rescheduling costs to provide consumers with greater travel options.
