Content-streaming platform Netflix has applied another component for Android users that will now permit them to see partially downloaded shows.
As per The Verge, starting today, Android users on portable devices such as tablets (variants 7.64 and higher) will be able to stream Netflix shows and films before their download is finished.
Netflix at present permits users to watch something just when it is downloaded on the gadget, if we’re talking about the offline watching specturm.
For example, if you have a trip to catch and you have just figured out how to download 50% of the content, you can see the content disconnected when the download is finished. You would not have to wait for it to finish download, but you can easily start watching midway and the download will process in the background.
In any case, according to new declarations made by the organization, Netflix users can stream content regardless of whether it hasn’t finished downloading.
The download will start again when you get web access yet would not prevent users from enjoying it.
For now, incomplete downloads will be restricted on Android portable devices and tablet gadgets yet Netflix said it “will test on iOS in the coming months.”
