If you’re a Jio user then you’ll have the option to recharge jio number be it prepaid or postpaid payments via WhatsApp chats as well. The service has been launched by Jio and will enable its customers to make payments in a more convenient way.




Now, the most prominent question that one could raise here, is how to do so? So, the procedure is very simple and follow the steps given below to enable making payments through WhatsApp.

Step 01: Open Contacts and Click on ‘Add New’

Step 02: Enter A Desired Name Such as ‘Jio Pay WhatsApp’ and Save it using the number ‘ 70007 70007’.

Step 03: After Successfully saving the number, Open WhatsApp and search for the said contact.




Step 04: Send a simple ‘Hi’ using WhatsApp and wait for a reply, which usually takes less than a second.

Step 05: Voila! Now you can easily make payments and all using Whatsapp for your Jio Services.

What Kind Of Jio Services Are Available For Using The Payment Through WhatsApp Feauture?

The services that are included under this scheme covers all of the major Jio Services and one can make full use of this feature if you’re a Jio customer.

The services included are as follows:

  • Jio SIM Recharge
  • Get new Jio SIM or Port-In (MNP)
  • Support for Jio SIM
  • Support for JioFiber
  • Support for International Roaming
  • Support for JioMart

If you use any of these services or is planning to use then you can easily make the payments for the same using a simple Whatsapp chat.




Earlier the user have to either visit a third party payments app such as ‘Paytm’, ‘Phonepay’ and other or use the official Jio app or the website. These are time taking mediums as compared to the new WhatsApp payment feature.
