SBI has announced the final date for the linking of the PAN-Aadhaar card. Otherwise, they would take strict actions against the account holder and it can go up to a fine of INR 1000 and block the validity of your PAN as well.

The last date for the same is set to be 30th June 2021 as announced by the SBI using their official Twitter account on May 31st.

The government has been telling the uses of the banking system to get these details updated and up to date since 2017. But almost after 04 years from the initialisation of the same, the users of the banking system have failed to do the necessary. That is the reason why there are so many notifications for the same.

Now, if you fail to do you can be faced with the penalties mentioned above and as well as that there would be other limitation for your account. You would not be able to do certain things such as the opening of bank accounts, cash deposits in bank accounts, the opening of Demat accounts, transaction of immovable properties and dealing in securities.

These are all the activities that make the whole banking system and would make the banking system just an inoperable mess for you.
