Kia Launches EV6 in India: Offers a Range of 663 km on a Single Charge – Check Price

Kia has officially launched its much-awaited electric car, the EV6, in India. This electric vehicle (EV) boasts an impressive driving range of 663 km on a single charge. Kia has focused on style, power, and modern technology in this new model. The starting price for the new EV6 is set at ₹65.9 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).

The new EV6 features 15 design enhancements, including a sportier and more aggressive front end. Inspired by Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, it comes with a new star-map graphic connected DRL, sequential indicators, and a GT-Line front bumper. Additionally, it is equipped with 48.74 cm (19-inch) aerodynamic glossy-finish alloy wheels and star-map LED rear combination lamps, giving it a futuristic appeal.

The EV6 offers a premium and spacious cabin, providing a luxurious experience. It features a double D-cut steering wheel with hands-on detection technology for added convenience. A 31.2 cm (12.3-inch) dual panoramic curved display with a connected car navigation cockpit enhances the digital experience. The next-gen infotainment system ensures an immersive and seamless driving experience.

The new Kia EV6 is equipped with the latest ADAS 2.0, offering 27 advanced safety and driver assistance features, including 5 new autonomous functions. These include FCA 2.0 – Junction Turning, which detects oncoming vehicles when turning at intersections, and FCA 2.0 – Junction Crossing, which helps prevent collisions while crossing intersections. FCA 2.0 – Lane Change Assist ensures safety while changing lanes, while FCA 2.0 – Evasive Steering Assist provides emergency steering assistance. LFA 2.0 – Lane Follow Assist helps keep the vehicle within its lane, reducing the risk of accidental lane departure.

Built on Kia’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the new EV6 is powered by an 84-kWh battery pack, offering an ARAI MIDC-certified range of 663 km. It delivers 325 PS of power and 605 Nm of torque, ensuring a thrilling driving experience. Kia’s ultra-fast charging technology allows the EV6 to charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes using a 350kW fast charger.

With its futuristic design, cutting-edge technology, and long-range capabilities, the Kia EV6 is set to make a significant impact in India’s growing EV market.
