Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Launched in India With Snapdragon 865

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G has launched in India. Earlier, the device was said to launch on March 30, 2021, by Samsung India on its Twitter account but the day passed by and tech lovers like us couldn’t see any notification of its launch. Even though, the smartphone was listed on the official website with a ‘Notify Me’ option. The 4G model of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE was launched earlier in India and now the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G marks its way in the tech market.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Specifications

The dimensions of this model are 159.8 X 74.5 X 8.4mm (6.29 X 2.93 X 0.33 in) and weighs 190 grams. This dual 5G Nano-SIM technology runs on the Android 10 operating system, upgradable to Android 11, One UI 3.0. It comes with a 6.5 inches screen, 101.0 cm² (84.8% screen-to-body ratio) with 1080 X 2400 pixels, 20:9 ratio (407 PPI density). It is powered with Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 (7nm) chipset and comes in three variants – 6GB RAM 128GB ROM, 8GB RAM 128GB ROM, and 8GB RAM 256GB ROM.




It has a triple rear camera that houses a 12MP camera (f/1.8 aperture), an 8MP camera (f/2.4 aperture), and another 12MP camera (f/2.2 aperture) for 4K@30/60fps, 1080@30/60fps video recording. It comprises a front camera of 32MP (f/2.2 aperture) for 4K@30/60fps, 1080@30/60fps video recording.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11, USB Type-C 3.2, Bluetooth v5.0, and GPS/A-GPS. When it comes to sensors, then it is provided with a fingerprint scanner (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor, and compass. It has a non-removable Lithium-Ion battery of 4500mAh that supports fast charging 25W, fast wireless charging 15W, reverse wireless charging 4.5W that is touted to take less than two hours to fill the entire capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G has been priced at Rs. 55,999 but it is offered at an introductory price of Rs. 47,999 after an instant cashback of Rs. 8,000. This discounted price can be availed from Samsung.com, Amazon, and Samsung Exclusive Stores from March 31, 2021.




By looking at the price of Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, this device will be competing against the OnePlus 9, Vivo X60 Pro, ROG Phone 5, and last year’s OnePlus 8 Pro along with the iPhone 11.
