The historical film Chhaava is making waves at the box office, showing no signs of slowing down. After running successfully in theatres for nine days, the film is now on its way to crossing the massive ₹300 crore mark. With packed theatres, thunderous applause, and record-breaking earnings, Chhaava has established itself as one of the biggest hits of the year.
The magnificent story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, depicted in Chhaava, continues to dominate the box office even in its second week. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has earned an impressive ₹286.75 crore so far.

As per early estimates, Chhaava performed exceptionally well on its second Saturday, collecting around ₹44 crore. This has taken its total earnings in India to ₹286.75 crore. The film saw a steady increase in audience turnout throughout the day, with an average occupancy rate of 50.45%—35.55% in morning shows, 53.98% in afternoon shows, and 61.82% in evening shows.

No Signs of Slowing Down
Chhaava is emerging as one of the biggest box office hits. After a massive opening of ₹31 crore, the film completed its first week with a whopping ₹219.25 crore collection in India. The first weekend was equally spectacular, with ₹37 crore collected on Saturday and ₹48.5 crore on Sunday. Even in its second week, Chhaava is gaining momentum instead of slowing down. On its second Friday, the film earned ₹23.5 crore, marking a 9.30% increase from Thursday’s ₹21.5 crore.
With such strong momentum, Chhaava shows no signs of stopping anytime soon at the box office.
