Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to dominate the box office. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film is on the verge of crossing ₹700 crore net in India.
Directed by Sukumar, the movie had an explosive start, earning ₹164.25 crore gross on its opening day, followed by a record-breaking weekend. However, collections saw a dip on Monday.
In addition to Arjun and Mandanna, the film features Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in significant roles.
Pushpa 2 Day 8 Box Office Collection
Pushpa 2, made with a budget of ₹400–₹500 crore, has grossed over ₹1,062 crore globally within its first seven days. The film experienced a 20% decline in earnings on day 6 and an 18.53% drop on day 7. On Wednesday, it collected ₹42 crore, bringing its total India net earnings to ₹687 crore. By 10 AM on Day 8, the movie earned an estimated ₹2.44 crore net in India.
Weekend Highlights
The movie earned ₹10.65 crore during its premiere and ₹164.25 crore on its opening day. Its first weekend was remarkable, raking in ₹93.8 crore, ₹119.25 crore, ₹119.25 crore, and ₹141.05 crore on days 2, 3, 4, and 5, respectively. It reached the ₹1,000 crore mark globally by day 6.
Aiming for Box Office History
Pushpa 2 is now set to become the highest-grossing Indian movie of all time, surpassing major films. Currently, Aamir Khan’s Dangal holds the top spot with ₹2,070.3 crore worldwide. Other films in the ₹1,000 crore club include Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (₹1,788.06 crore), RRR (₹1,230 crore), KGF: Chapter 2 (₹1,215 crore), Jawan (₹1,160 crore), and Pathaan (₹1,055 crore).
