Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule continues its record-breaking run, surpassing ₹400 crore globally within just two days. After debuting as the biggest Indian opener of all time on Day 1, the Telugu action drama directed by Sukumar has solidified its status as a cinematic phenomenon.

Early estimates reveal that the film achieved a two-day worldwide gross of ₹400 crore, with a net collection of ₹265 crore in India alone. The immense excitement surrounding Allu Arjun’s portrayal of Pushpa Raj is evident in these extraordinary figures. According to Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated ₹90.1 crore net in India on Day 2, maintaining its dominance after smashing several records on its opening day.

On Day 1, Pushpa 2 dethroned RRR as the biggest Indian opener, surpassing massive hits like Baahubali 2, KGF 2, and Jawan to become the highest-grossing Hindi release ever.

The multilingual release saw strong occupancy across all languages on Day 2. Telugu screens recorded an occupancy of 53%, followed by Hindi (51.65%), Tamil (38.52%), Kannada (35.97%), and Malayalam (27.30%).

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule delves deeper into the gripping story of Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler battling mounting threats. Fahadh Faasil returns as the intense SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, Rashmika Mandanna reprises her role as Srivalli, and Jagapathi Babu’s entry adds intrigue to the ensemble cast.

With an extended weekend and no major releases in sight, Pushpa 2 is poised to dominate the box office further. Featuring music by T-Series, this cinematic spectacle has set a new benchmark for Indian films in 2024.
