Bajaj is set to expand its e-scooter lineup with the introduction of the Chetak 2903. Currently, the most affordable model in the range is the Chetak 2901.
The Chetak 2903 is expected to be positioned above the 2901 variant, addressing the nearly Rs 22,000 price gap between the 2901 and the Urbane variant. To justify its higher price, the Chetak 2903 will come with enhanced features compared to the 2901, though the overall design will remain largely unchanged. There might, however, be new colour options available.
In terms of performance, the Chetak 2903 will be equipped with the same 2.9kWh battery pack, providing an ARAI-certified range of 123km on a single charge. In real-world conditions, the range is expected to be between 90-100km.

The scooter will be powered by a 4kW electric motor, offering a top speed of 63kmph. Unlike the 2901 variant, which lacks fast charging capabilities, the Chetak 2903 is expected to feature fast charging.
The Chetak 2903 is anticipated to be priced around Rs 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom), with the launch likely to take place in the coming weeks.
