The beneficiaries of the Public Distribution System will be able to withdraw grains 24×7 from this grain ATM. Due to which there will be no need for them to stand in long lines for ration. Till now people had to stand in line for hours for ration.

How much grain will be available?

Odisha Food Minister Krishna Chandra Patra launched this machine (Grain ATM launched). This grain distribution machine was launched in the presence of Deputy Country Director Nojomi Hashimoto, Deputy Country Director of World Food Distribution Event in India. It is being planned to install this machine in other districts of the state. So that more and more people can get its benefit.

How can you withdraw grain?

The process of withdrawing money from the Grain Dispensing Machine is very easy. Information about which was given by Food Minister Krishna Chandra Patra. Ration card holders can withdraw money through this. This is not the first grain distribution ATM in the country. Before this, it has started in Haryana. The country’s first green ATM was launched in Gurugram, Haryana in the year 2021.

Through which grains like wheat and rice will be distributed 24 hours a day. To withdraw grains from this machine, ration card holders will first have to enter their ration card number or Aadhaar card number. After entering the number, customers will have to do biometric authentication. After which the grain will come out of the machine.
