Address can be changed many times

The official address of many people changes many times. Due to which the facility of changing the address of Aadhaar card is also given many times. For this, proof like rental agreement, water bill, telephone bill is required. This can be done online or by visiting the Aadhaar center.

Women change surname after marriage

After marriage, many women in India change their surname. Due to which they also have to change the name in the Aadhaar card. For this, you will have to go to the Aadhaar enrolment centre. Where along with filling the form, other necessary documents along with marriage certificate have to be submitted.

How to change the address in Aadhaar Card?

  • The address in Aadhaar card can also be changed online. For this, first of all you have to go to the official website of UIDAI myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/. Where after entering the 12 digit Aadhaar number, fill the captcha code and click on the option of send OTP.
  • Log in through the OTP received on the registered mobile.
  • After this, go to Proceed to Aadhaar update in the option of Aadhaar update.
  • Select the address and again go to the option of Proceed to Aadhaar update.
  • Now you will see the address present in the Aadhaar card. In which the option for change will come.
  • Fill the information of the new address. Along with which many documents will also have to be uploaded.
  • After making the payment by clicking on the check box, your Aadhaar card will be updated.
  • Its information will come on your registered mobile number.
