Pat Cummins, the World Cup-winning captain stunned everyone before Mitchell Starc blew away everything that the auction has ever seen. The Aussie skipper was sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for a huge amount of Rs 20.50 Crore in the IPL 2024 Auction. The bid for him caused a battle between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Cummins is expected to lead the Sunrisers in IPL 2024.
3- Sam Curran – Rs 18.50 Crore (PBKS) Most Expensive English Player Ever in IPL Auction History
Sam Curran surprisingly went for more money than Ben Stokes in IPL 2023 Auction. He was bought at a huge price tag of Rs 18.50 Crore by Punjab Kings. Curran was retained at this price in IPL 2024.
